 Dawn Young, has been involved with film and television as an actor and voiceover artist in NYC for many years doing feature and independent film, primetime and daytime television, commercials and print work. In 1996 she moved to the other side of the lens, as well, and began shooting and creating her own projects. "Beneath the Surface" (1996-2005) is Dawn's debut feature length documentary, shot over an 8 year period in Europe, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, and the United States. She has also done the principal cinematography for Jennifer Wollan's "The Leadership Principal" and is presently shooting "Faces of Family" (2004-) and the "Isle of Capri, a short film (2005-). Jon Pousette-Dart,
was the founder and leader of the Pousette-Dart Band
which turned out 4 critically acclaimed records for Capitol, and toured with
some of the most well known acts of the 70's and 80's, including Bonnie
Raitt, Yes, Billy Joel, Little Feat, and many others. They garnered a loyal
following that has spanned three decades. Jon continues to record, produce,
and perform, and released his third solo album, "Heart and Soul" in 2005,
and is currently touring and preparing for his next CD. He composed, and

Shayna Casey is associate editor for the new hit
television series "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy".
Prior to editing "Water Polo: Beneath the Surface"
she has edited many documentary features most
recently working with directors Josh Aronson, on
Feelin' No Pain, and Steven Ives on "Reporting
Americas Wars" among many others. Shayna is
comfortable working in Final Cut Pro, Avid Media
Composer /Xpress, and Avid DV Xpress, and is
familiar with Photoshop, After Effects, Quark,
Pagemaker, Filemaker Pro, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
David Haffner provides technical services from sound design and video editing to web design and programming for Russell Brosnahan Haffner Multimedia, Inc. He is experienced in non-linear editing, audio engineering and provides sound recording and mixing expertise. Mr. Haffner has an alter ego as "DJ Coolhands" featured on various radio stations and at clubs around the country. His original musical compositions give his projects a fresh edge and he recently started his own record label, Soul Shard Records. Jennifer Wollan has been editing for over fifteen years, working in almost every genre imaginable, ranging from no-budget PSA's and independent documentaries to network television and multi-million dollar features. She began her editing career working on trailers and on-air promos, for which she often wrote the copy as well. A graduate of Harvard University, over the years she has worked with ABC, AMC, TNT, and WNET/Channel 13. In addition to her work with Reel Biography, she currently works with Mumbleypeg Productions, editing various corporate, documentary and promotional pieces, and on Good Morning America on ABC. |
